So yeah, my blog is malnourished and severly in need of some grooming. Maybe I'll even go crazy and change the colour scheme?!
Loads has happened since I lasted posted anything of any significance. I quit my PGCE , for various reasons that I can't even be bothered to mention as I've explained them a hundred times already! So finally I have a full time job, and to be honest I don't actually hate it. The fact I don't hate it worries me as I'm sure it should, but the people I work with seem pretty nice and it's not a horrible job. Haha, I feel I should explain further. I work in a call centre. I take various different calls and they're all hilariously insignificant. I'm genuinely surprised that a) phone lines for such things exist and b) people actually call them. Let me give you some examples...
1) You know when you buy laundry powder? You know they used to put a scoop in the box so you could measure out the powder? Well now you have to call up to get a scoop sent to you. I'm the person you call. It's insane. The people that call me seem to think laundry is a very serious business. Just use any old cup!! It doesn't have to be an exact science!! Crazy bastards.
2) Are you old? Are you incontinent? Call me for a free sample of Tena lady! I'll talk to you about how many mils of 'liquid' you lose, and what absorbency level would be best for you! To be fair, this line is awesome as it's just sweet old ladies who want some help.
So yeah, I don't hate it but in the grand scheme of things, I have a pretty useless jobs. I won't be helping to achieve world peace any time soon.
Is there anything else? Probably not. I Twitter a whole lot, I like it more than full length blogging actually. I don't like the increase of people I know getting it though...not my friends, but acquaintences trying to add me. For me, Twitter is not a place to add anyone and everyone. I like to bitch and I like the anonymity, so my updates are now private (boo!) and I have to oh-so-subtley ignore requests from people I don't want to add! Eep.
